Check Them Out! : Adelphia

Adelphia is a four-piece Alternative Rock band from Notthingham UK, made up of Nicholas Crampton (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Rik Gilbert (Drums, Backing), Jordan Wood (Lead Guitar), Jay Sanderson (Bass).

These days many rising bands make use of social media to reach out to netizens and spread the word about their music, and that is exactly how I got to know about Adelphia, now one of my favourite bands!

Some time back, Nic (cakewithfruit.tumblr.com) dropped me a message on tumblr, requesting that I check out their debut single at that time, Do Your Worst. I won't lie, it was love at first listen! Their lyrics were relatable and their sound was really good, I just wanted to hear more. The wait was finally over when the band released their second single, Lost At Sea in November 2013. Soon after there was word that they would be releasing their debut EP in December 2014 (Of course this made me super excited!!!) .

Consisting of  5 smashing songs, their Debut EP Fingers Burnt, Lessons Learnt was released on 15th December 2013. It includes their first and second single, Do Your Worst and Lost At Sea, and 3 new (amazing) singles, The Edge, Only Time Will Tell and Payback. Each song has it's own unique way of winning a spot on your mental replay list. So, if you are reading this, you should check them out!

These boys are definitely on the roll with a new single which will be out soon. Till then their EP will be on constant replay!
